MAN SHOT DEAD BY CAR-BORNE ASSAILANTS

TARN TARAN : A 30-year-old man was shot dead by some unidentified car-borne assailants near Bhagupur village of Patti sub-division here on Sunday. The deceased is Mandeep Singh of Shah Bukar village in Ferozepur district. Patti Sadar police SHO Harpreet Singh said the incident took place at 7.30pm. He said as per an eyewitness, the accused were following Mandeep in a Maruti Suzuki Swift car. When he reached near Bhagupur village on the Patti-harike road, the accused pumped three to four bullets in him, the SHO said adding that a murder case was registered.
