MURDER WITNESS SHOT DEAD

ROHTAK: A 25-year-old man was shot dead by three unidentified bike-borne assailants near the old vegetable market in Hisar on Monday, police said. The deceased has been identified Mukesh Pardhan of Hisar, who was the prime witness in a 2018 murder case of a man. Hisar DSP Ashok Kumar said, “The assailants fired nearly 20 shots, of which 10 pierced into the victim’s body.” The body was sent for post-mortem and a case under Section 302(murder), 34 and Section 25 of the Arms Act,1959, was registered.
