REVIVING INDIA
India is setting up its economic revival strategies to recover from the pandemic losses. From becoming self-dependent to inviting foreign investments, it is a long way for India to get back on the track. The idea is to not only increase domestic demand, but also increase exports for faster revival. Health, education and wellness will also be key factors to help Indians recover. Satyam Sharma,

June 23)’, there is indeed an urgent need for radical overhaul of the health sector, now that the covid pandemic has exposed grave shortcomings. Definitely, a behavioral change is needed, but to expect people living in extreme poverty, unable to get even safe drinking water to adopt hygienic lifestyle is asking for moon or living in a fool’s paradise. I strongly feel that India needs to drastically increase investment in the health sector.
Dr Vitull K Gupta, Bathinda the healthcare sector. India’s healthcare spend on GDP was 1.2% in 2018, among the lowest in the world. India needs a big dose of health spending to improve our public health. A systematic procedure is required. Adequate resources will also lead to behaviour change.
