GANGSTER BUTTAR DISCHARGED,HELD

MOHALI: Gangster Navdeep Singh Navi, alias John Buttar, of Moga, who was injured during an encounter on Friday in Kharar, was discharged from PGIMER, Chandigarh, and arrested on Sunday. DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar of the Organised Crime Control Unit said, “He will be produced in a local court on Monday. We will seek his remand for investigation. The interrogation of the other four gangsters is underway.” Buttar was shot in the legs during the encounter.
