WANTED GANGSTER HELD IN DERA BASSI

MOHALI: The police on Sunday arrested a wanted gangster, Rahul Vaidya, and recovered a country-made pistol from his possession. Vaidya was wanted by the police of four states on charges of murder, attempt to murder and extortion. A case was registered under the Arms Act against the 40year-old gangster, who was a member as well as a sharpshooter in Ambalabased Vikram Gang. Dera Bassi station house officer Satinder Singh said that they received information that the gangster was moving towards Ambala City bus stand. He was on a bike when he was apprehended.
