EMPLOYEES FRONT TO BOYCOTT OFFICE ON AUG 18

CHANDIGARH: Punjab-ut Employees and Pensioners Joint Front gave call to boycott office duties on August 18 over Punjab government’s “anti-employees policies” including pay scales for fresh appointments on pattern of Centre, which is far less than state pay scale. They condemned mobile allowance cut and orders to abolish posts in name of reorganisation of departments. They will burn effigies of the Punjab government on August 4 and 5.
