MUST PROMOTE FOOTBALL IN INDIA

-

Finally, the English Premier League (EPL) has come to an end and Liverpool is the worthy winner. Though the 100-day break with nine matches each pending did affect the performance of many teams, Leicester City maintained the third position throughout but lost their rhythm and finished fifth. The performance of Chelsea was noteworthy. They were barred from hiring new recruits but finished fourth and qualified for the Champions League. Besides established stars from the top teams, many players from lower teams also performed exceedingly well. Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Troy Deeney (Watford) and Richarlison (Everton) performed very well. Jamie

Vardy deserved the Golden Boot and Ederson rightly won the Golden Glove. Watching the EPL will surely help promote Indian football.
