WEST BENGAL EXTENDS CURBS

KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Tuesday that the lockdown in containment zones of the state would continue till August 31. The biweekly restrictions will also continue for the next month, she said. Addressing a press conference, Banerjee said schools and colleges in the state would remain closed at least till August 31, and a decision on reopening educational institutions would be taken in September.
