REROUTE REAL ESTATE
The pandemic has pushed several industries to get creative with the digital space to reach out to customers. And to help connect potential buyers with the best in real estate sector, HT Virtual Real Estate Expo — India’s first virtual real estate expo conceptualised by Hindustan Times, in association with some of the best minds in India’s real estate industry — was organised from July 22nd to 26th.
The event was sponsored by KLJ, Mapsko, Omaxe, Raheja, Sobha, Tata Value homes,
Unity Group, Wave and World Trade Center.
The idea behind the expo was to develop a one-stop solution for all real estate customers amid the present challenging times. The five-day events with a digital-first approach to information gathering, house hunting and commercial properties saw 5,841 registrations. Redefining real estate buying and selling, it turned to be a landmark virtual event for real estate in the Covid-19 era.
What the expo also had in store for buyers was a live chat to address real-time queries through site and virtual tours of the projects showcased by the developers.
One of the attendees, Ankit Joshi, an MNC employee from Noida, says, “It was a different and good experience attending a virtual expo with Hindustan Times. And I found it far better than real time as it was informative and provided detailed information of the dealers.”
Another visitor, Anil Rao, a solution architect, too, had a great experience. “In-person experience is always good, but due to these unprecedented times, this is the best to option to connect,” he says.
“[It was a] good initiative by HT during these times. The virtual expo turned out to be a great success with excellent participation from customers and channel partners. We have received some good leads, and are confident of converting a decent number into sales. Encouraged by the overall response, we are planning to participate in more of such virtual expos, going forward,” says Achal Raina, COO, Raheja Developers.
