₹25L JEWELLERY GOES MISSING

CHANDIGARH: A case of theft has been registered after gold and diamond jewellery worth ₹25 lakh was found missing from the house of a retired army officer in Sector 33, police said on Wednesday. The jewellery belonged to Lakhbir Kaur Bindra, 80, wife of Lt Col Jagmohan Singh Bindra (retd), 88. The complainants have raised suspicion on the domestic helps, who are being quizzed.
