WOMEN HELD FOR COPS’ KILLING GANGRAPED IN CUSTODY, SAY KIN
ROHTAK: Twenty six days after two women were arrested for their alleged involvement in the killing of two cops in Sonepat’s Butana, mother of one of the women on Wednesday alleged that the duo was gangraped in police custody. The woman had approached a local court in Gohana a few days ago, but the matter came to light on Wednesday. Gohana ASP Udai Singh said the allegations were false and baseless. “The accused women were produced in a court, which had sent them to two-day police custody. Their medical examinations were also conducted. The complainant is trying to tarnish the police’s image.”
