There is no dearth of good samaritans in this world. When the country was battling Covid-19, thalassemia patients were facing an acute shortage of blood across the country. Glen India took it upon themselves to meet this demand. ML Sharma, chairman, says, “As the lockdown was imposed, we realised a far pressing issue was thalassemia patients, who were unable to get blood for treatment. We formed 10 blood banks and got people to donate blood while following social distancing protocols.” A true inspiration!
