4 DEATHS, 623 FRESH CASES IN HARYANA

CHANDIGARH: Four coronavirus infected persons in Haryana succumbed to the illness on Thursday, taking the number of fatalities to 417. The state reported 623 fresh cases on Thursday, pushing the cumulative number of positive cases to 34,254.

As per a medical bulletin, 920 infected patients recovered from the disease. Now, the number of those cured of Covid in Haryana stands at 27,340. Two of the deaths took place in Faridabad, while one person each succumbed in Ambala and Nuh.

The number of active cases on Thursday was 6,497. While the national capital region districts of Faridabad (184), Gurugram (77), Rohtak (43) and Sonepat (36) collectively accounted for 54% of the fresh cases reported on Thursday, Ambala (48), Karnal and Panchkula (34 each), Rewari (32), and Hisar (28) also added substantially to the tally.

3 VOLUNTEERS TO GET SECOND COVAXIN DOSE

Three volunteers will be administered the second dose of ‘Covaxin’ at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak on Friday.
