MAN KILLED IN PAK WAS U.S. CITIZEN

ISLAMABAD: The US state department has identified as an American citizen the man who was shot dead in a Pakistani courtroom while attending a blasphemy case hearing. Tahir Ahmad Naseem, 47, was facing charges in Peshawar district court after reportedly claiming to be a prophet. The US state department extended condolences to his family. It urged Pakistan “to take immediate action and pursue reforms that will prevent such a shameful tragedy from happening again”.
