BATHINDA DFSC SUSPENDED FOR GRAFT

BATHINDA: The district food and supplies controller (DFSC), Bathinda, Mandeep Singh has been suspended for graft. Deputy commissioner B Srinivasan said the subordinate staff of the DFSC alleged that the official was seeking undue favours in terms of cash and kind. The district administration forwarded the complaint to the state authorities following which DFSC was placed under suspension. Singh will remain posted at headquarters in Chandigarh.
