PANCHKULA MAN HELD WITH PISTOL

PANCHKULA: A resident of Kharak Mangoli was arrested on Friday for allegedly possessing an illegal country-made pistol. Police said they stopped the accused, Tahid, for checking near dumping ground in Sector 23 and recovered the weapon from him. As he could not produce a permit, a case was registered under Section 25 of the Arms Act at Chandimandir police station.
