FARMERS HOLD STIR IN K’SHETRA
KARNAL : Accusing the central government of introducing anti-farmer laws, hundreds of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) members held a protest in Kurukshetra on Sunday. They alleged that the government wanted to shut mandis and end the MSP system. The new laws will encourage black-marketing of food grains and essential items, they claimed. They demanded immediate withdrawal of the ordinances.
