WOMAN TRYING TO END LIFE RESCUED

CHANDIGARH: A woman in her 30s attempted suicide by jumping into the Dhanas lake on Sunday afternoon. However, a forest guard stationed nearby rescued her. According to police, the woman is a resident of EWS Colony in Dhanas and decided to take the extreme step after a dispute with her husband and children over cooking lunch.
