HOOCH TRAGEDY: PROBE COMPLICITY OF POLICE

The loss of lives due to consumption of spurious liquor has cost many households their bread earners. All culprits should be tried for mass murder. The complicity of police personnel must be probed by an external investigating agency. The culprits should not be let off with mere suspension. Termination from service and capital punishment will be an apt punishment for officials who were hand-in-glove with the perpetrators. The officials either looked the other way or pressured gullible people to consume liquor to make a profit.
