Padma Vibhushan Ebrahim Alkazi who has long been associated with National School of Drama
(NSD) passed away on Tuesday, at 94.
He taught acting to veterans such as Naseeruddin Shah and late Om Puri. Alkazi was a prominent theatre artiste during the 1940s and 1950s before he moved to Delhi to serve as the director of NSD for 15 years.
