LIGHT RAIN TO CONTINUE IN COMING DAYS: MET OFFICIALS

CHANDIGARH: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that light rain will continue in the city in the coming days. On Wednesday, 3.1mm rain was recorded in the city with wind speed up to 40kmph during the evening. An IMD official said, “Light rain is expected to continue for the next few days in the city.” On Wednesday, the maximum temperature went up from 36 degrees Celsius to 36.5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature rose from 27.5 degrees Celsius to 28.6 degrees Celsius.

date to apply for admission to Class 11 was extended from July 30 to August 3 after glitches were reported on the website. The final list on allotment of schools will be out on August 20. The last date to apply for admission to various undergraduate courses in government and aided colleges has been extended to August 7 .
