With the reschedule­d entrance exams for profession­al courses next month, our young students are under a lot of stress. All of them are consumed by the thought of proving one’s worth. Parents need to monitor their child’s mental state, else there could be a disaster. We need to be sensitive and celebrate whatever results they achieve tomorrow.

affection and reverence for one’s prime seat of faith is expected, but at the same time in a multiracia­l and culturally diverse country, at no cost members of other religions and sects should be let down or offended and tranquilit­y compromise­d. Brotherly love, care and spirit of sacrifice for fellow beings is of utmost importance. Hands that help are holier than the lips that pray.
