YOUTH ACQUITTED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE

CHANDIGARH: The juvenile justice board has acquitted an 18-yearold Manimajra resident who was accused of assaulting a minor. As per the case, which was registered on April 15, 2019, a domestic help had alleged that the youth had sexually assaulted her 12-year-old daughter when she was taking a shower. It was argued in the court that the youth was being falsely implicated in the case, following which he was acquitted.
