ABDUCTED TERRITORIAL ARMY JAWAN KILLED BY MILITANTS

SRINAGAR: Militants on Sunday claimed to have killed the Territorial Army personnel who was abducted in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on August 2.

In an audio message, purportedly released by militants, they said the jawan had been buried at an unidentified place.

Shakir Manzoor, who was working with 162 TA battalion in south Kashmir was abducted from Kulgam district and his burnt vehicle was found later. Soon after the abduction, police and army had launched a search operation. However, the jawan could not be traced.
