Man beaten to death in Dadri

ROHTAK: A 24-year-old man was thrashed to death allegedly by two persons at Charkhi Dadri’s Nanda village on Sunday night, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar of the same village.

In her complaint to the police, victim’s wife Kiran said her husband’s friend Vikram had visited their house on Sunday evening and asked him to go somewhere for an ‘important’ work.

“The duo went in my husband’s car and later, Vikram brought it back and fled the spot with an unknown person. Body of Sunil was found lying on the front seat,” she added.

Badhra police in-charge Veer Singh said they have registered a murder case against Vikram and an unknown person. “The victim’s body was handed over to his family members. We have launched a manhunt to nab the accused,” he added.
