Haryana: Property registration in rural areas to begin from August 17

-

CHANDIGARH: After keeping the registration of sale deeds of properties on hold for four weeks, the Haryana government on Monday decided to restart the process for agricultural land in rural areas from August 17. E-appointments for the same will be available from August 11.

Following reports of violations related to issuance of no objection certificates (NOCS) for registration of sale deeds of properties in notified urban areas in Gurugram, the state government had on July 22 halted the registration of transfer deeds across the state for a limited period.

An official spokesperson said the process of taking e-appointments for the registration of land deeds in urban areas will also begin from August 17 but fresh dates regarding the re-starting of registration of deeds will be shared soon.
