CHANDRA GETS ADDL CHARGE OF LOCAL BODIES DEPARTMENT

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred six IAS officers, including additional chief secretary (ACS) Sanjay Kumar from local bodies department to low-profile tourism and cultural affairs dept. Satish Chandra, special chief secretary (home), will now hold additional charge of local bodies replacing Kumar.chandra has earlier been ACS local bodies but was replaced by Sanjay after given homes department. Principal secretary, general administration department, Alok Shekhar has now been posted as principal secretary, investment promotion, whereas Vivek Partap Singh will now hold charge of secretary, general administration department. Husan Lal will now be principal secretary, sports and youth services.
