BROTHER OF RTI APPLICANT RECEIVES THREAT CALL

AMBALA: Ambala police have registered an FIR on the complaint of an RTI applicant whose brother received threat calls on Whatsapp.the complainant, Anoop Singh Rana of Preet Nagar, told the police that his brother Yashpal Singh had received a threat call from one Bunty Kaushal on Wednesday. Rana alleged that the caller threatened his elder brother with dire consequences if he doesn’t withdraw RTIS and complaints. SP Abhishek Jorwal said the FIR was registered under Section 506 of the IPC at the Baldev Nagar police station and a probe has been launched.
