AVOID THESE ROADS ON AUGUST 15

CHANDIGARH : In light of the Independence Day celebrations, three stretches of roads will remain closed from 6.30am onwards on Saturday. This includes the road from roundabout of Sector 16/17/22/23 up to Gurdial Singh petrol pump, Sector 22; the road from Old District Courts, Sector 17, up to Shivalik Hotel; and the road from Lyon’s Restaurant light point, Sector 17, up to Parade Ground. Parking won’t be allowed in front of the shops in Sector 22-A during this time and the temporary grain market at Sector-17 ISBT will remain closed. Buses coming towards the ISBT will be diverted towards the ISBT Chowk, Sector 17, from Kisan Bhawan Chowk and Piccadilly Chowk via Himalaya Marg and will reach the ISBT from the small chowk near the petrol pump.
