MOHALI COP AMONG 10 FROM PUNJAB TO GET CM’S MEDAL
MOHALI: Mohali police inspector Rajiv Kumar will receive the ‘Chief Minister’s Medal for outstanding devotion to duty’ during Independence Day celebrations on Saturday. Rajiv Kumar, who is posted as the station house officer (SHO) at Mataur, is one the 10 cops selected by the director general of police for the honour. The award will be given by chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh during the state-level function to be held at Major Harminder Pal Singh Memorial
College, Phase 6, Mohali. Kumar has also been previously awarded the DGP Disc for performing his duties with devotion during the Covid-19 outbreak.
