HEALTH DEPT UPGRADES ICU FACILITIES FOR COVID PATIENTS

JALANDHAR: Ensuring augmentation of the medical facilities in Shaheed Babu Labh Civil Hospital for level-3 covid patients who need better ICU care and ventilators, the district administration has equipped ICU with 56 fowler beds with two high-flow nasal oxygen therapy machines at the cost of Rs 25 lakh. Due to rise in cases, DC Ghanshyam Thori ordered the setting up of oxygen plant in the hospital. He said 28 more beds, two high flow nasal oxygen machines, etc have been added.
