DADUWAL HOLDS PROTEST

PATIALA : Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Baljit Singh Daduwal protested near the gurdwara on Monday, seeking the registration of an FIR against the gurdwara management committee. Daduwal claimed it was the committee, which was responsible for the missing saroop, as members kept the issue hidden for a long time, and only brought it to the notice of the police, when their political masters asked to do so.

He termed the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) protest, near the SSP office, as a farce. The Akalis are demanding a speedy probe and the arrest of guilty.

Daduwal lifted his protest, when SP Harmeet Singh Hundal gave an assurance that the police had summoned the management committee to join probe.
