STATE REJECTS CENTRE’S HIKE IN CANE RATES

CHANDIGARH : Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Wednesday rejected the meagre hike in sugarcane prices terming it as the continuation of the unabated series of antifarmer decisions of the Centre. He said the Centre should announce bonus at ₹70 per quintal.
