MAN HELD WITH 5.6 GRAM SMACK

CHANDIGARH: A Sector-25 resident was arrested for carrying 25 vials of restricted injections and 5.6gm smack. Shiv, alias Sheru, 39, was nabbed from near the Government Model School, Sector 25, on Wednesday. A case was registered at the Sector 11 station. He will be produced before a court on Thursday. Police said the accused was already facing NDPS cases registered at Sector 11, Sarangpur and Lalru, and theft cases at the Sectors 31 and 34 police stations. They said he was a drug addict, who doubled up as a supplier to raise money for his addiction.
