AMBALA MAN BOOKED FOR RAPING SECTOR-13 WOMAN FOR FIVE YEARS

CHANDIGARH : Police have booked an Ambala man for sexually exploiting a woman for five years on the pretext of marriage. The 40-year-old woman told the police that she and the accused, Amandeep, resident of New Model Colony, Ambala, worked at the same shop and became friends. She alleged that between 2012 and 2017, he sexually exploited her at her Sector 13 (Manimajra) house after promising to marry her. He later refused to marry her, following which she approached the women police station in Ambala. After lodging a zero FIR, the women police station transferred the case to Manimajra police station where a rape case was registered.
