DISPUR: Assam on Saturday observed a lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19, following guidelines issued by the state government on August 14. Guwahati wore a deserted look with people staying indoors. On August 14, the government issued Covid-19 lockdown guidelines with relaxations between August 16 and 31.
