‘SUPER SMS MUST WITH COMBINE HARVESTERS’

CHANDIGARH : To ensure cleaner environment, especially in view of the covid-19 pandemic, and reduce air pollution stemming from burning of paddy straw which adversely affects the fertility of soil, the Punjab government has made it mandatory under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, for harvesters to have super straw management system (SMS) attached.
