SAD’S WOMEN WING TO HELP GIRLS TAKE TO SPORTS

CHANDIGARH: The Istri Akali Dal will provide coaching to girls to compete in the national, international sports events. Bibi Jagir Kaur, president of women wing of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), announced on Monday. She added that to encourage girls in sports, a high-powered committee of eminent players comprising of recipients of prestigious awards and medals in different sports will be constituted the next week.
