‘KOKILABEN’S CALL’ WAS A BIG SURPRISE FOR RAPPER YASHRAJ

If this tune isn’t leaving your head, you need to credit music producer Yashraj Mukhate, 24, who has become an overnight social media sensation with his viral musical spoof! While accolade from all quarters keep pouring, the biggest surprise for him was getting a call from ‘Kokilaben’ aka actor Rupal Patel.
“She said she loved the video; she didn’t have to make that call, but she spoke with such warmth for over 10 minutes that it just made my day,” says Mukhate.
Opening up about making this video, he shares, “I was producing a song for someone, but couldn’t think of anything. While looking for inspiration, I came across this clip and added some beats to it, just for fun. I never expected it to go viral!”
And even as his work is getting appreciated by filmmakers, including his favourite, Anurag Kashyap, So has he got any offers yet? “I’m in talks with a few people. I’m willing to work on everything that comes my way. Singing, mixing videos etc.; I hope I’ll continue doing good work!” he says.
