MAN HELD FOR OFFERING BRIBE

CHANDIGARH : A man was arrested on Wednesday for offering bribe to a section officer of the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB). The accused Manmohan Singh of HST Enterprise, offered the officer a bribe for clearing pending bills. The accused placed an envelop containing bribe money in front of the officer, who objected. Singh was later apprehended by security guards and handed over to the Vigilance Cell.
