UNION MINISTER POKHRIYAL RELEASES COMIC BOOK ON COVID PRECAUTIONS

CHANDIGARH: Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union minister of education, on Wednesday released the fourth edition of the comic, ‘Kids, Vaayu and Corona: Covid appropriate behaviour’, which has been developed with the objective to help children lead a normal and healthy life amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The comic is the brainchild of Dr Ravindra Khaiwal, department of community medicine and school of public health, PGIMER, and Suman Mor, department of environment studies, Panjab University. During the release, Pokhriyal highlighted the role of teachers and educators who are working to create awareness so that the infection’s spread is minimised.
