Rohit is excited to get back to work

- Navneet Vyasan

How everything’s going to pan out, I’ll be able to tell you when I reach the sets,” quips Rohit Roy, who is hoping to resume work by the end of this month. The actor, who’s got Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga alongside Emraan Hashmi and John

Abraham lined up, says although the term “moving on”, when it comes to the future of shoots, is still somewhat vague, it’s vital to get going.

“As actors, it’s very important for us to eventually get back in front of the arc lights and the camera, because otherwise, actors can decay. Mental stability is very important, because sitting at home for over four months has taken a toll on a lot of actors, especially those living alone,” opines the actor, 51, who recently directed a web show along with his wife, Manasi.

Roy, however, asserts that the excitement to get back on set shouldn’t turn disastrous, adding, “Tests will be done for everybody who is going to come on sets. We will take all the precautions we have been advised to, maybe a few more. We cannot afford to have anybody falling ill in these two weeks, or even after that.”
