BATHINDA PLANT EMPLOYEE FEDERATION HOLDS PROTESTS

BATHINDA: Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant (GNDTP) Employees’ Federation staged a protest on Thursday against the state government and finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal over their decision to redevelop and auction the plant land. Riding a camelback, federation president Gursewak Singh Sandhu led the protest march. He was carrying bundles to mock electoral promises made by Manpreet, the Congress legislator from Bathinda. These bundles were burnt near the thermal plant as a message for Manpreet.
