MAN’S HALF-BURNT BODY FOUND IN FOREST NEAR DHANAS LAKE

CHANDIGARH: The half-burnt body of a man was found in the forest area near Dhanas lake on Thursday. The body was spotted by the forest watchman during patrolling. Police said the body, which was completely burnt till the torso, appeared to be two days old. All police stations have been informed for the deceased’s identification. A case under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Sector-11 police station.
