Adopt a pet to add joy in your life amid the gloom

The smell and sound of the rain are my favourite,” confesses actor Evelyn Sharma, who is missing it all this time as she is currently in Australia. Ask her how she is dealing with these gloomy times and her answer is by adopting a pet.

“Coco brings so much happiness in our family!

She’s a doxiepoo, a mix of poodle and dachshund! If you haven’t added a furry friend to your family yet, there are many waiting to be adopted.

The love you’ll receive in return is worth all the time you have to put towards raising a doggy,” shares Sharma, 31.

She also tells us how the lockdown helped her adapt to a healthier lifestyle. “The lockdown affected everyone emotionall­y and mentally... I have been using this time to try out new recipes. I have been practising yoga for a while now, and I think it is the best way to keep your mind and body healthy. Keep yourself hydrated and do some home exercises and stretching during the day,” adds Sharma, who believes that morning workouts give the best result. of this mixture for about two minutes. Add two cups of water, two cloves of crushed garlic, and some roasted and chopped pine nuts. Cook this for about three more minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy your delicious vegan chili! You can even give it an Indian twist by wrapping it up into a roti for some yummy chili wrap!
