₹1.41 CRORE FRAUD: FIVE BOOKED IN JAMMU

JAMMU: The Jammu crime branch on Saturday registered an FIR against five cyber fraudsters, who allegedly duped a retired army officer of ₹1.41 crore through RTGS transactions. The accused had personated officials of the ministry of finance over the phone and had convinced the retired army office to invest in a Canadian initial public offering in order to get ₹10 crore after a period of 16 years.
