Veteran travels on foot to take part in farmers’ parade
ROHTAK : Retired honorary naib subedar of the 16th Sikh regiment, Gurjeet Singh, 52, from Mauran village in Sangrur travelled for three 3 days covering over 250km and reached Tikri border to join the farmers’ Republic Day parade. The exserviceman, whose family grows crop on five acre of their parental land and 10 acre land on lease, covered the whole distance on foot.
