Tata Power net profit plunges 76% to ₹72 cr
NEW DELHI: Tata Power’s consolidated profit plunged 76% to ₹72.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, on account of a one-time regulatory expense of ₹272 crore and forex losses of ₹160 crore. However, in a statement, the company said: “PAT stood at ₹72 crore mainly due to oneoff items as well as first-time impact on account of Indian Accounting Standards. PTI
