AIIMS may hike staffers’ retirement age to 67 yrs

NEW DELHI: The governing and institute bodies of All India Institute of Medical Sciences cleared a proposal on Friday to increase the retirement age of faculty members from 65 to 67 years. The proposal , which is aimed at meeting an acute shortage of doctors, needs to be approved by the Centre before it can be implemented. Young doctors, however, feel the move will hamper their growth. >> P6
