Over 2,200 stolen mobile phones, tablets recovered

CHENNAI: Over 2,200 stolen mobile phones and tablets were recovered by police from two people, including a pawn broker, here on Saturday. Praveen Kumar was arrested from Palavakkam area here and based on information provided by him, pawn broker Hanumanram was nabbed, police said. Kumar’s arrest revealed he had robbed cash and cell phones from people after threatening them by brandishing a knife, police said.
